Star Wars: Rogue One is the Star Wars movie we have been waiting for!

The conflict between the empire and the rebels is handled very realistic. The empire is evil and relentless, and the rebels a chaotic mishmash of do-gooders and extremists.

You quickly get to learn the characters, even thought their introduction is short, and it is very refreshing to see the universe from another perspective than the Skywalker-one.

The former imperial intelligence droid K2SO is the major comic relief, and he does it very well. Felicity Jones and Diego Luna fits their roles just perfectly, while Forest Whitaker seems a little oddplaced as the rebel extremist Saw Guerra.

The movie shows how the rebel alliance gets hold of the secret plans to the death star, and it tells that story very well, without entirely ruining Episode IV. There are parts that do not fit together that well, but all in all, its a great prelude for the first triology.

Also worth to mention - this is the movie, that portraits Darth Vader best. He is evil, determined, unstoppable. This is what he should always be!

This movie highly enriches the Star Wars universe, and I rate it one of the two best of the Star Wars movies (the other one being A New Hope).
