1000 AD, for years, One Eye, a mute warrior of supernatural strength, has been held prisoner by the Norse chieftain Barde. Aided by Are, a boy slave, One Eye slays his captor and together he and Are escape, beginning a journey into the heart of darkness.
I might be a bit biased, as I do not like the director. He uses way too many artistic pauses and artsy shots, which to me destroys the movie. Furthermore a lot of the movie does not make any sense on the primary level and if you go deeper and do a little analysis of it, I just get annoyed with how farfetched it really is. The theme of the movie is right up my alley, but the style is a road block for me. I might be a simpleton and ignorant for finer arts in movies, but this is just not my style.
