Your number is up.

The story is rather thin but it could work, if it were done right. Unfortunately it is not.

It is about average entertainment, but the movie is filled with clichés and poor special effects/costumes. In general everything that concerns the Magadorians is just bad. Bad costumes, bad acting and bad writing.
The visual effects of the superpowers are done ok though, and the CGI for the chimera and the other alien beasts are alright as well.

I might not be the target audience, as I think this might be a teenage movie of some sort, but I have watched quite a few super hero/alien movies to know my share, and this one just is not good enough. The story behind the home planet is poorly explained and the explanation for the vicious Magadorians is just too thin and lame.

If you are a teenage punk/geek who really likes any sort of alien superpower movie, this might be acceptable for you. For the rest of us... find something else.
