Stop whining! You are Spider-Man!!

This second part of the Incredible Spider-Man trilogy is both better and worse than the first part. The whiny and depressed Peter Parker is quite annoying. What has he got to be sad about? It is that he cannot explain his feelings for Mary Jane? Come on! He is not a teenager anymore! AND he is a superhero. Think of something! This may however be a (poor) adaptation of stuff from the comic books, which I have not read (sorry!), so my judgement might be a bit unfair, but I still think it is a bit too much.
My next problem is the added goofiness in this part. There are several scenes that is bordering slapstick humor and that, in my opinion, does not belong in these movies. I might be wrong though. Maybe it is good to add some (cheap) laughs for the youngsters. For me it spoiled it a bit.
The good part is more action, more story and more swinging about in the web. That is great stuff.

Tobey Maguire should stop being whiny. I still have a secret crush on Kirsten Dunst. Alfred Molina is good as Doctor Octopus.

Watch it if you like Spider-Man, Marvel or superhero movies. Watching the first part is not strictly required, but I would recommend it.
