The Ghost Writer offers an interesting and gripping story that develops slowly but keeps you tied to the screen. At first the plot doesn’t reveal much, but then it suddenly begins twisting and turning near the end—and it’s all very well executed.

Ewan McGregor is perfect in his role, bringing just the right amount of charm while still appearing innocent. I’ve never given much credit to Pierce Brosnan’s performances before, but I have to admit he really handled this part well and did a good job.

If you’re into political dramas and mysteries, this one comes highly recommended. I genuinely enjoyed it quite a bit.

I can't really decide if it's a 7 or 8. But fact is that it's worth your while.

It has a very good mix of top political affairs and down to earth drama. It's based on a novel by Robert Harris, which I haven't read, but could be a great, if I did know the ending, which completely ruins this type of thriller suspense movies...

I has a very nice twist, that fans of the thriller genre will appreciate. Pierce Brosnan is the worst actor of the movie, and yet he's pretty good, so acting get's thumps up.

I like the setting of the movie. In a big fancy/expensive villa on a small island i the US. Where weather is king and all camera shots makes it seem like the loneliest place in the world.

If you'd like a good long thriller, the go ahead and make your day.
