This started out as what could almost be categorized as a romantic comedy, then shifted into a super intense thriller and by the end became a drama. Great, great buildup, but a slightly disappointing ending. The plot is well written, as it has you shifting through all the details in the hopeless predicament, trying to find a way out before everything is finally disclosed. In my opinion, though, it could have been done better. Both Hugh Jackman and Ewan McGregor were fantastic in this movie. Really strong performances from both of them. If you enjoy a hopeless situation thriller, this could be a hit for you. If you are a fan of either Jackman or McGregor, this is a must see. I give it seven out of ten. |
