Very slow and slightly boring story. I thought it would have had a bit more action and drama, but instead it just kept stalling out the very slow and inevitable plot. I was not impressed. The acting from Drew Barrymore and Sara Gilbert was about average, while both Tom Skerritt and Sheryl Ladd were slightly below average. Overall, a disappointing experience, as I was expecting a bit more. I'm considering whether I want to see the next couple of movies in the franchise. Based on experience, they are probably even worse, but then again, I might get surprised. Take note that this has nothing to do with the Poison Ivy character from the DC universe. If you want to see Batman, you have picked the wrong movie. I give it five out of ten. |
