Another smash action hit in the John Wick franchise. There is lots of action and an exciting story that, at a very slow pace, leads us towards an inevitable end. But the ride to get there is long and winding, and the body count just keeps climbing. Keanu Reeves is the perfect John Wick. He is just brilliant in the role, and I have seen some clips of him training for the stunts, which are super impressive. Ian McShane is very good in his role as Winston, being very dry and courteous. Donnie Yen also does a great job playing the blind Caine. There is obviously an insane amount of stunts, shooting and fighting in this movie. It is part of the DNA of John Wick, and it is really well executed. If you have seen the other movies in the John Wick franchise, this is obviously a must see. You will get some closure from it, I promise, without telling you more. If you just enjoy a great and slightly extensive action movie, this one is really packed with fights and shooting. Without the background information from the previous movies, however, you might have a hard time following the plot. I would give it eight out of ten. |
