Classic Danish movie that has to cater everyones needs with violence and drama, that when topped with humor, matters absolutely nothing. The storyline is plain boring, and there are so many disfunctional characters competing for screentime and laughs, that it become pointless. It is just to hard to get invested in the drama, which seems like nonsence. Same actors as always. This time Mads is the retard, Nikolaj the dandy criminal, Bodil as always the old hag, etc. It is boring, especially when you know how good they really are ... for the love of E.T. Mad has been a Bond villain and a Star Wars-dad. Now this? And Thomas, is this really how it is now? :( Is it a bad movie? No! Is it a good movie? Definately not ... especially with the line of actors in tow and how poorly they were used. Do I recommend it? No. Watch any Danish movie ... they're very much the same, same actors, same build up, same drama, same humor, same ... A rather trivial Danish movie by all means. Booooring! |
