This ninja movie has a very long story with interesting development, but I found it a bit too slow, and there’s not much payoff in the end. The acting is pretty solid for the most part, though it’s always a bit tricky to assess when it’s in a foreign language and set in a very different culture. The stunts are decent, but they go way over the top with blood and gore. Some of the fight scenes also feature a lot of angry screaming, which I found a bit bizarre and hard to take seriously. If you’re a fan of modern ninja-style movies, this might be worth checking out, but for me, it didn’t quite hit the mark. It’s decent, but nothing extraordinary. |
