The Sum of All Fears

The story follows CIA analyst Jack Ryan (played by Affleck) as he tries to prevent a nuclear war between the United States and Russia after a neo-Nazi group acquires a nuclear bomb and detonates it during a football game in Baltimore.

The movie keeps you on the edge of your seat. The acting is good, with Affleck delivering a convincing performance as the young and inexperienced Ryan, and Freeman as always bringing his gravitas to the role of the CIA director. The action scenes are well-executed, and the tension is palpable throughout.

However, the movie does have its flaws. Some of the plot points are a bit far-fetched, and the pacing can be slow at times. Additionally, the relationship between Ryan and his love interest (played by Bridget Moynahan) feels underdeveloped and doesn't add much to the story.

The film is more relevant now than ever before because of the increased global tensions and the ongoing threat of nuclear war from Russia. All it takes is the acts of a terrorist group to spark that horrible fire.

Overall, "The Sum of All Fears" is a solid political thriller that is worth watching if you're a fan of the genre or the Tom Clancy novels.
