I watched this numerous times as a kid, so my rating might be affected by some sentimental factor. The story is simple but fun. The plot is straightforward and obvious. The acting is decent for the most part. It is actually interesting to see both the outback and the city life scenarios. It is quite a bit stereotypical seen with modern eyes, but being a child of the 80s I can live with that. Family entertainment that lets you have a look into an exaggerated fish out of water situation.
