This is a pretty decent sniper movie but maybe it is actually a regular movie just above average. My judgement is highly biased as I love sniper movies.

The story is just as strong as any 90’es action movie I used to watch as a kid. In fact if you disregard the use of a cell phone operated sniper rifle, this movie could just as well have been made in the 90’es. It is not necessarily a bad thing though. Sometimes you just need to unplug your brain and watch a couple of people get shot from a long distance.

The acting is not impressive. Tom Berenger is a decent action movie actor, but nothing spectacular. The same can be said about Chad Michael Collins. My favorite performance in this movie is delivered by Dominic Mafham, who despite only being a sidekick, still managed to deliver a performance that set an impression.

Obviously there was far too little sniper action. This is despite there being quite a lot compared to other movies with the same topic, but I still was not satisfied. Mind you, I might not ever be satisfied with the amount of sniper action in a movie unless the entire thing is shot through a scope.

Once again, I love a good sniper movie and look forward to watching the next one in line. If you are not into sniper movies, however, I think you will be bored to sleep.
