This movie in a nutshell: boring and poor acting.
I watched a English dubbed version which, I guess, only made the acting even worse. The original is French, but my French is not good enough to follow along the plot.

The story is classic - annoying new boss, temptation of decent police, biting off more than you can chew and all the trouble that this entails. Nothing new, but not necessarily bad either - except it is in this movie. The pace is off and just uninspiring. A lot of small details do not fit well together and a lot of the characters and their actions are just not believable.

I have been a huge fan of Jean Reno ever since the movie Leon, but he had way too little screen time in this movie in my opinion. It almost felt like they only included him to get his name on the poster.
The lead actor, Lannick Gautry, was decent. He is a relatively unknown actor, in Hollywood at least, of French origin. None the less he was the most believable character in my opinion.

The end or moral, if you want to call it that, is even more pointless (or misunderstood by me?) than the rest of the movie. I will try to avoid any spoilers here, but do not get your hopes up folk. In a way I regret spending the time watching this movie if not for the beautiful pictures. I am not recommending this one.
