It is an action movie, and that's it. No surprises, no thinking required. But as an action movie it is quite ok. Sometimes it feels like it wants to be Netflix's John Wick but it never really rises to that level. How ever there are some excellent camera effects in some scenes, other still resort to shaky cam and jump-cuts. I would call it a good hangover movie. |

This is classic good action. It is exciting, there is constantly something going on and you are entertained from the start till the end. There are close to zero surprises in the plot and you already know how it will end after the first 10 minutes, but there is something comforting about that in these kinds of movies. The role of Thor in the Marvel movies made me question the talent of Chris Hemsworth, but yet again this movie proves that he is a good action movie actor. The fighting scenes and gun fights are well done. If you enjoy a good classic action movie, this is highly recommendable. |
