Movie reviews for Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation

2018-09-24  Niels Risgaard Hansen: 7 out of 10
Good action and a good storyline with quite a few good plot twist that really makes you sit up and keep you eyes and ears focused. I like that!

They have tuned down down the slapstick humor from Simon Pegg to a perfect level. Much more fitting for this type of movie!
I just love Ving Rhames in most, if not all, his movies. He is great in this role.
I am not a big fan of Jeremy Renner, however, but his performance, like in many other movies, was not half bad here.
Rebecca Ferguson does a good job portraying her predicament while you still cannot help questioning her loyalty. Well done! Can you ever truly trust a female double/triple agent? She is also rather pretty.
Sean Harris playing the principal villain annoyed me quite a bit. Despite being a bit creepy, he seemed too weak in my opinion and just did not strike me as a terrorist mastermind. And why did he have to whisper all the time?
Tome Cruise has just sort of become Ethan Hunt - or is it the other way around? That role seems to be completely natural.

I am amazed that these movies keep up the high quality, despite this being the 5th instalment. In my opinion that takes pretty good writing, and I recommend this movie based on that.
