Movie reviews for Dodgeball

Funny and light entertainment - perfect for a lazy evening!

I have always liked Vince Vaughn and Ben Still also normally makes quite good movies. This one is no exception.

The plot is a classic underdog story, and all expectations are fulfilled. There are no big surprises, but instead the movie is full of a wide range of funny details. Each time I watch it, there is something new to laugh about. And how can you not like a movie that features both Chuck Norris and William Shatner (in very small uncredited parts though)

As it is light comedy, the demand for good acting is not an issue, but I this think that the parts a done quite well by the cast. Christine Taylor playing Kate Veatch is both pretty and funny. My favourite part is when Ben Stiller's character is having a meeting with her in his office. I also enjoy Alan Tudyk playing Steve the Pirate - maybe mostly since I love pirates.
Some of the parts are a bit overplayed, but I think it fits the movie, so it is not ruining it.

All in all a fun movie worth watching more than one.

Remember: If you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge a ball.
