God fucking damnit! How did this happen? There's like 4 different pretty well known actors in this movie and they must have read the script before saying yes... How come they didn't see the LACK of potentiel in this movie? 1/3 through the movie I thought, oh well this can actually turn to be a pretty good movie. But since it didn't turn anywhere except in the obvious bad/worst direction it could! [SPOILER] So this movie goes basicly like this: 1. Sons father is dying and family needs money to live 2. Son gets involved in underground russian roullete, regreds but is forced 3. Son Survives and wins 1.85 million dollars 4. Son hides the money and tells his mother where they are 5. Someone gets mad and kills the son to steel the money SERIOUSLY? So 1/2 this movie is actually about the Russian Roulette games, where, correct me if I'm wrong, everything depends on chance, even though they keep blabbering about skills... So 45 minuttes of this movie is about a guy who is lucky not dying. Then there's the side stories, like the cops are trying to find these evil people arranging the Roulette games, and that does amount to anything at all... NOTHING to it at all. Second side story must be there ONLY to show of 50 Cent and Mickey Rourke, since THERE ABSOLUTELY nothing to that story either. Mickey R is in a mexican prison and someone makes sure he gets out and is kidnapped to the Roulette games. WHY HIM? Any way he has hidden a lot of money before he went to prison and during the Roulette games 50 Cent, his Guard, is offered 3 million for letting Rourke go, but declines. When Rourke survives the games, 50 Cent tries to Kill Rourke, but is stopped and walks away. Now Rourke leaves AND THAT IS THAT... NOTHING MORE... Why were I told all this... WHY!? Waste of my f*cking time... Go see it! |
