This is an amazing story based on actual events and an actual person. The movie has great and gripping action on each deployment, and you find yourself at the edge of your seat to catch it all. In-between the deployments you really sense the unrest while back at home. Incredible acting by Bradley Cooper and directed by Clint Eastwood! I read somewhere that Cooper consumed approx. 6000 calories a day and gained 40 lbs to fit the part, while also taking language lessons twice a day to be able to look and sound like the real Chris Kyle. I do but know if this is true, but if it is that is incredible dedication. The final 10 percent of the movie is a completely different genre and somehow that actually completely changes the perspective and your opinion of Chris Kyle. I was truly amazed when I saw that! If you like sniper movies, this is a must see. If you enjoy war movies based on actual events, this is a must see. If you just enjoy a good action movie with a solid story this is a really good choice. I am a big fan. I have seen it twice and will absolutely see it again. |
